School Garden

Over the past few months, I have been working with Poplar Primary School in south west London to create a sensory garden in memory of a member of staff who sadly passed away a few years ago.

The garden has been planned to be a space that feels, inclusive, calming and that can appeal to children and adults alike. Staff may use the garden for work with individuals or take groups of children into the space.

The space is still being worked on, ready for the official opening in July. A fabulous group of volunteers and members of staff have been working on making the project happen and parents could ‘sponsor’ a plant through a sponsorship scheme.
